To install the selected clone file, click Install.NOTE: Removing the clone file does not delete it from the computer. To remove the selected clone file, click the trash can icon.To select a different clone file, click the switch icon.Locate and select a clone file, then click Open.In the Install Clone File area, click Select.Click on Cloning at the bottom of the Home page, in the Quick Links area.Access the destination printer's Embedded Web Server and log in as a System Administrator.See the Related Content for additional information. NOTE: Disable FIPS 140-2 mode before you install a clone file. Save the downloaded file to a selected location.Click Create at the bottom of the page.NOTE: To include Personal Favorites in the exported clone file, include Address Book and Authentication, Authorization, Accounting, Personalization among the selected features. To clear all settings, deselect Select/Clear All.To choose all settings, select Select/Clear All.In the Create Clone File area, select the apps and features that you want to include in the clone file.At the bottom of the Home page, in the Quick Links area, click Cloning.In the Embedded Web Server, click Home.Note: Depending on when the device was manufactured, the default password may be the device serial number or 1111. Enter the System Administrator password in the field provided, and then click on the Log In button.The User Accounts window will be displayed. Click on the Log In button at the top, right of the page.The Embedded Web Server home page will be displayed. In the Web browser address field, enter the IP address of your printer and then press Enter.From your computer or network-connected device (on the same network as the printer) open a Web browser. ![]() Access the source printer's Embedded Web Server and log in as a System Administrator. ![]() IMPORTANT: To use the clone feature to copy your printer settings to other printers, both the source printer and the destination printer must be the same model and have the same version of firmware. You can also use a clone file to copy your printer settings to other printers.
